TerraBioGen Technologies Inc.

TerraBioGen Technologies Inc., formerly know as IBR or International Bio Recovery Corp., is a British Columbia incorporated environmental biotechnology company headquartered in Vancouver. Founded in 1993, TerraBioGen business focus is the marketing and sale of its patented (EATAD) digestion technology which converts organic waste materials into biologically rich organic soil conditioner concentrates engineered to reverse agriculture’s growing reliance on chemical pesticides and fertilizers.

TerraBioGen’s headquarters includes a $6.8 million production demonstration plant and R&D centre. Through its history, TerraBioGen has achieved key milestones that have resulted in the progressive dissemination of its technology, the sale of plants and licenses, and the commercial development of end products.

The revolutionary breakthrough that characterizes TerraBioGen’s EATAD process is its ability to process mixed food and agricultural waste streams, to produce a high commercial value fertilizer concentrate in a period of less than 96 hours. This capability to process different waste streams in a short time frame opens unique commercial opportunities. It facilitates increases in efficiency and cost effectiveness of converting agricultural and food wastes to commercially valuable end products within an economically viable time period.

As a result TerraBioGen offers generators of biodegradable waste, a cost-effective alternative to expensive landfill disposal, incineration, and/or waste to energy processes. By converting biodegradable waste into products beneficial to soil fertility, TerraBioGen is also mitigating the side effects of our over-reliance on chemical fertilizers, including nutrient over-loading of aquatic ecosystems, the infiltration of toxic compounds into sub-surface aquifers and soil degradation.
